    ECO, Event, Site, Result and more. The tool has been created to put the 4 created evaluation tags of Best of Chess on top in the output PGN as you can see in this example

    Excellent for large comp-comp PGN's with tens of thousands games.

  • PGN Match Stats - Match Overview of COMP-COMP matches.

  • Delete Double Games - Delete double games in a PGN file.

  • Extract Players Global - Extract the PGN games of multiple players in one run via a predefined text file, for examples see the files 'gm.txt' and 'ccrl.txt' in the ELO folder. In a PGN with player names spelled differently, such as "Kasparov, Gary" or "Kasparov, G"  Global means only use "Kasparov" as selection.

  • Extract Players Exact - Extract multiple players in one run via the predefined file 'players.txt'
    and create an own PGN file for each player found. Excellent for extracting human games from a large PGN database. Contrary to Extract Players Global player names now must be exact.

  • PGN ECO Statistics - PGN ECO Statistics, creates the file 'eco-results.txt' wich contains the
    statistic result of each ECO code. Excellent for opening preparation.

  • Extract Games on ECO - Extract the games of a specific ECO code. Useful for opening study or
    opening preparation on opponents.

  • Count PGN Games Fast - Quickly count the number of games in a PGN database.

New PGN tools under the F1 - F12 function keys

[F1] - Opening book anticipation, overview how well (or bad) an engine responds on the first 8 moves after the opening book or predefined move sequence. NOTES, the PGN must contain evaluation scores and games starting from a [FEN] corrupt the output because of a bug in pgn-extract out of our control. See example in the Playing Style Rating List.

                   

[F2] - Fast blunder check games - See Example and documentation. Blunder check a large PGN with a Stockfish version of your choice overnight. Depending on your chosen time control you can do hundreds of games in one run.
