REBEL-EAS-2.0 is the follow up of REBEL-EAS and instead of gaining elo as priority number one the emphasis and focus has been mainly on playing style and making the engine play more aggressive. Making an engine to play more aggressive usually cost elo (see our new second engine REBEL-EXTREME) but the art is to keep the elo loss as small as possible and with REBEL-EAS-2.0 we even managed to gain 5-10 elo together with some search changes.

The level of aggressiveness is measured by Stefan Pohl great tool Engines Aggressiveness Statistics, or EAS. A comparison -
As one can see the EAS score almost doubled in comparison with Rebel 16.3 which BTW remains our strongest engine.

Also enjoy the sacrifice and shorties PGN's inside the download.

And get our EAS flagship REBEL-EXTREME which is playing unbelievable sharp games.
